Susan Elizabeth Bliss, age 66, of West Branch, Michigan, was taken into the arms of the Lord on August 9, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Byron and Peggy (McLarney) Bliss.
Susie loved to draw, and once won an award for her drawing. Her favorite place to go and get a bite to eat was Big Boy. Susie loved to travel with her sisters and enjoyed the car rides no matter how long or short. She loved the circus and attended whenever it came to town or Saginaw or elsewhere close by.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, brother Byron Bliss Jr., and brother-in-laws Stan Defer and Bill Fogarty. She is survived by her sisters Sharon Fogarty of Lewiston, MI, Carol (Tom) Artusi of Central Lake, MI and Nancy (Jim) Wallace of Stanwood, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 16, 1:00 p.m. with a visitation beginning at noon, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lewiston, located at 3060 Casey Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association through the Nelson Funeral Home, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.

I loved being with Susie. She loved her sweet snacks and it was always such a pleasure seeing her enjoying them. I will miss dear Susie so very much.
