Stacie Lynn Walker, age 37 of Gaylord, MI, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017.

She was born in Grayling on September 6, 1979, to her parents Steven and Debra (Fox) Walker. Stacie loved listening to rock music. She also enjoyed the water, her green pillow, watching kids and animals play, and going for rides. Stacie was a very strong and opinionated person.

Stacie is survived by her parents, Steven and Debra Walker; aunt Kay (James) Stewart; uncles Gary (Denae) Fox and Danny (Valerie) Walker; grandparents Jerry and Dorothy Walker, and Joyce Fox; four cousins; and her pets Buster and Billy Bob. The family would also like to give special thanks to Stacie’s caregiver, Denise Spehar.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Vern Fox.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2-4 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Otsego County Animal Shelter. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.
