Thomas Alexander Masley, age 73, of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away on August 21, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Tommy was a great friend and I enjoyed many fishing excursions with him. When we used to go to Walleye camp we would refer to him as the “internet”. His life experiences had lead to a wealth of knowledge making him a well studied resource on almost every topic and a valuable resource in the crisis we would seem to create. I have the upmost respect for Tom in what he has done for our country as well as what he has done for me. Sadly saying goodbye- Dave Hoheisel
I enjoyed my time with you, Tom! Fishing, playing Euchre, shooting pool, or sharing some stories over some good drinks. Always ready with a big smile and a good laugh (even when my jokes weren’t that funny). As the head chef in fish camp, you kept us all so well fed, from fish fry to poached eggs with homemade Canadian bacon, or scrambled eggs so velvety good I’ve still never found anything else even close.
I am grateful to be able to say that I knew you, and will long remember the fish, stories, and fun times we had.
I’m so sorry to hear about this our family (Jack Scott’s) are so very sorry. Tom was a wonderful friend to my dad and our family. He will be so missed. Sue (Scott)Feather
