  2. Dear Miss Deb, sisters, and brother,
Your mom will be missed. She was quite the character. I enjoyed her immensely. She could give you a heck and smile at the same time. LOL.
May your memories give you comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
    Rest in peace, my friend.

    1. Shirley was a beautiful, funny, and crazy friend. We loved to room together when we went to conventions. She would keep me awake until early mornings telling me about her life stories. I would laugh until my belly hurt. I tried to never make her mad because I saw her wrath when something made her mad. She had a very contagious smile. She talked about her children with so much love. R.I.P, my dear friend, I will miss you dearly. Love JuJu xxxoooo

  3. My deepest sympathies to the extended Paul family mourning Shirley’s passing. I remember Aunt Shirley as a bright spirit always glad to see and support her family and friends. What a pleasure it was to visit Aunt Shirley and Uncle Dean in their Lambertville, MI, home. May her positive energy exhibited throughout her life be a comfort to her family and an example for all to emulate.

To Debbie, Sherie, Karla, and the entire Paul family we send our sincere condolences on the loss of your momma who was a friend of ours for so many many years even after moving to Gaylord. She was so funny, loved life, and loved you all. She’ll be missed by so many of her VFW Auxiliary sisters and comrades. Rest in heaven my friend and give my mom, Shirley D., a hug from me.

  5. I only knew Shirley through New Dimensions hair salon but wanted to give my condolences and say what a fun wonderful little spitfire she was, sure did enjoy knowing her. She had a beautiful spirit. RIP Shirley.❤

I am sorry to learn of Shirley’s passing. I know she loved her family dearly.
Shirley was my first cousin, my mother was Eunice Schoenegge Schumacher.

  7. So sorry for the loss of your mom. So many of my childhood memories are of being over at your house, sitting at the kitchen table listening to Shirley “scold” someone, me included!! Loved that woman! My thoughts and prayers of comfort to all of you.
