Sadie Cecilia Ambrose, 103, passed away on May 27, 2021.
She was born the daughter of John and Mary (Tobarsky) Urbanski on September 11, 1917, in Wellsburg, West Virginia.
Sadie grew up in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. She moved to Detroit, Michigan, and married Stanley Ambrose on August 16, 1941. They raised two sons in the Detroit area. She worked for and retired from Chrysler after working on the assembly line.
Sadie moved to Gaylord, Michigan in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Stanley, William, and Joseph; and sons, James (Christine), and David (Marlene).
Sadie is survived by her granddaughter, Renee Ambrose; nephew, Joe (Patricia) Urbanski; and niece, Linda (Andy) Pensavalle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Cathedral, 606 N. Ohio Ave., Gaylord, MI 49735, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Goodbye to my friend. Sadie was my walking buddy and I will miss our daily walks. I sure enjoyed her company.
Sadie was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was certainly a blessing to anyone who walked through her life. She loved God deeply, and her friends and neighbors. Her granddaughter was her life, as well as her nephew and niece. Sadie will be sadly missed. It was a joy to care for her. Love you, Sadie!
I am so blessed that I got to meet & share some time with Sadie, she was so kind. She definitely was a Beautiful soul inside & out. She was a True inspiration to me & Im sure many others. RIP Dearest Sadie. 🙏
