Roseanna Hilliker was one Hell of a woman. She was well liked by all that knew her, and with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sadly, on Oct 21st, at the age of 66, Rosie decided it was her time to go.

There are so many things one could say about Rose and her obituary would fill pages, with that being said, the family wishes each and every one to remember her in their own way. She loved her little town and was proud to call Wolverine her home. She will be greatly missed.

Rose is survived by daughters Rhonda Hilliker, Regan (Michael) Cestkowski, grandson Tyrus “Ty” Hilliker and special siblings Elaine Downham and LJ (Suzy) Wager. She was preceded in death by her son, her gentle giant, Robert “Robby” Hilliker.

We love you mom!

In keeping with her Rosie’s wishes and to celebrate her life, a Christmas Party will be held on Sat, Oct 27th at 1 PM, Wolverine Community Center. Please dress appropriately (yes, that means your ugly Christmas sweater from your Aunt Betty!).

When asked if he wanted to contribute to his grandmothers obituary, her grandson Ty wanted to mention just one thing…..grandma, he saw a bare….a bare butt!

We are so saddened to read of Rossanna’s passing. Her family and community have lost a serious friend. May her family of friends celebrate her joy of life and smile when mentioning her name. God Bless.

What an amazing woman! Everyone loved Rosie. She was a bright star in our little town! Sending so much love. My heart breaks for the family. She was ageless, priceless, and simply a beautiful soul. I can only imagine the conversations she and my dear Roderick are having in Heaven!

  3. A very kind woman who always said hello, and quietly hummed a tune if lost in thought. Good bye Rosie. You will be missed.

If you ever met Rosie, you became a friend. She was a lovely lady and a friend to all. She will be missed.

  5. Deepest Sympathy for Rosie’s Family. She was a super, sweet , kind, wonderful, caring individual. She loved her community very much. She helped so many people, involved in activities and any and every Community event. She was anywhere and everywhere, we definitely will notice the loss as we go about town. I wish I could be there to say my farewell and give my love to a special friend to us all.

  6. This is so unreal to me, Rosie, you were one of the best friends I made when I moved to Wolverine back in 1989. Our children grew up together. I just don’t know how to wrap this in my mind, you’re too young to say goodbye! I could tell some great funny memories I’ve had with you, but you know every one. Another piece of my heart is gone, I will always hold you dear my friend. Until we meet again, I love you Rosie!

  7. Rosie was an amazing person. She was an extremely hard worker, generous to a fault, and above all, she lived solely for her family! She was a proud lady, and was devoted to her position as a trustee on the Wolverine Village Council. She never missed a chance to bless the Council members each and every year with a Christmas gift sent from her heart! She will be missed more than her family will ever know!

So sad to hear if Rosie’s passing. She was a neat lady that was always smiling! I pray for strength for her girls and grandson.
