There are no words I can come up with that would share the amount of love I have for this beautiful soul. He was an amazing person and gave so much of himself to others. He will be forever in my heart.
Rodney will be welcomed into heaven not only by God but so many loved ones that went before him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We love you Rodney!♥️
Rodney was the greatest person I ever had the opportunity of meeting, and caring for. He was smart, humous, creative, and generous. The fact that I will no longer be able to see him is tearing me up inside, he always knew how to make me feel better about problems in my life, just by saying “things will work out in the wash”, which they always did. Rodney has left his imprint on my heart and soul. Rodney had faith and believed we will meet again, and so I hold that close to my heart knowing that it will come true, but for now I will never live another day without missing him. Forever your “girl Thursday”, as that is what he would say to me on Thursdays when I spent my day and night with him. Rest in Peace until we meet again, Nila.
I will miss you Rodney. I was your computer fixer go to guy and I’ll miss helping and teaching you a few tricks on your PC. Rest In Peace my dear friend, Barry
He was the very first person I met when I moved to Gaylord from downstate when he lived at the Alpine house. He was always a fun guy to be around, very very smart and always had a great smile. I’ll miss you buddy. I was just thinking about you the other day wondering how you were doing. Enjoy your life with God, I’ll see you when I get there.
Rodney was a very fine, sweet, and courageous man, who I was blessed to know through my brother, Michael. I will miss his generous heart and smile. God rest your soul, dear Rodney.
Rodney will always be remembered with love. Despite the hand of cards that were dealt, he always had a smile on his face, words of wisdom to share, and lots of love in his heart. He blessed all around him and in turn was blessed with loving family and friends. I can almost see him going after “Ma”, and hear Aunt Marie and Uncle Joe laughing, til they all had tears in their eyes! I’m sure he has been welcomed with a group hug from all! We will be the ones who feel the loss, but one day there will be one’ helluva VanHorne reunion’, in heaven, waiting for us all. Rest easy Rodney, see you soon! Love forever♥️. Rest In Peace!
Rodney was one of the first people I met when I became a nurse. If there ever was a shining example of resiliency and kindness it was Rodney. He will be welcomed into heaven with angels singing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
The People here At Sheldon Place Apartments truly loved Rodney, he will be truly missed! Prayers go out to his family. I will see you again when the Lord calls me home. Love you, Rodney. RIP my friend,
