Robert R. Hublick, formerly of Boyne City, MI, passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 92, at the Kansas Veterans’ Home in Winfield KS.
Mr. Hublick was born on July 8, 1930, in Laurium, MI, to Evelyn and Joseph Hublick.
He loved fishing and hunting and was a lifelong member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was the son of a career Coast Guardsman and later served in the United States Coast Guard. He retired from Honeywell.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Hublick; his brother, James Hublick; his wife, Dorothy Hublick; sons, David Hublick and Richard Hublick; and daughter, Dawn (Kyle) Hublick Bell.
He is survived by Robert J. (Jana) Hublick, Dianna (Steve) Schram, Dotty (Bill Kiel) Hublick, Dale (Eileen) Hublick, Ryan (Patti) Hublick, Regina (Kevin) Jaeger and Cathryn Hublick, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Kansas Veterans’ Home, Winfield KS. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
