Peter Michael Nowak, age 33, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022.

He was born to Lawrence and Patricia (Jaynes) Nowak, on March 18, 1989, in Gaylord, Michigan.

Peter loved animals. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia.

Peter is survived by his parents, Larry (Susan) Nowak; siblings, Matthew (Donna) Rorick of Gaylord, MI, Timothy Nowak of Vanderbilt, MI, Mary Sievers, of Gaylord, MI, Teresa (Wayne) Hicks of TX, and Michael Rorick of Gaylord, MI; nieces and nephews, Dreah, Raden, Austin, Tate, and Logan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church in Vanderbilt, MI.

Visitation will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home, (135 N. Center Ave., Gaylord, MI 49735) on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary being offered at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue Friday, March 25, 2022, at Holy Redeemer Church in Vanderbilt, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Peter may be made to a charity of your choice.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.
