Patricia Lynn “Tricia” (Hitchcock) Bennett, 72, of East Jordan, MI, completed her final earthly battle and entered the glorious presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, November 20, 2021. She had an absolute love for her Lord and Savior.
She was born to Guy and Eva (Hayes) Hitchcock, on March 17, 1949, in East Jordan, MI.
Tricia had a bubbly personality and a smile that lit up a room. She loved to joke and give others a ‘hard time.’ If you received a hug from her, you would never forget it!
Tricia is survived by her children, Darcy (Teresa) Bennett, Danita Mathews, and Laura (Nathan) Crawford; grandchildren, Zachary (fiancé Liz) Russell, Avery Bennett, Cearra Bennett, Mackenzie Bennett, Kayden Bennett, Shelby (Dominic) Galleck, Addison Mathews, Alexis Crawford, Madison (Josh) Herndon, Connor Crawford, and Ciana Crawford; step-grandchildren, Taylor Kittenger and Hunter Johns; great-grandchildren, Fay Galleck, Ivy Galleck, Madolin Russell, and Lola Russell; sisters, Charlene Giem and Cathy (Don) Roberts.
She was preceded by death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Elly Galleck; brother-in-law, Wayne Giem; and son-in-law, Craig Mathews.
A memorial service will be held at Life Church in Gaylord, on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, through the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.

It was a pleasure and joy knowing Tricia! We shared a love for her precious grandchildren. Through the years, we shared many heart to hearts during the brief times we were together.
