Mary Jane Zimbicki, age 84, of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away, Friday, February 18, 2022.

She was born to Myron and Myrtle (Baraga) Schoolcraft, on July 13, 1937, in Cheboygan, Michigan.

Mary enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, and playing bingo with her friends. She was known for being a good cook and baking homemade cakes, which she decorated herself. Most of all, she cherished her time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Stanley “Sparky” Zimbicki, in 2015.

Mary is survived by her children, Stanley Jr., Frank, Robert (Carmen), Rosie (David) James, and Lisa (Jerry, Jr.) Williams; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

At this time, the family has chosen to remember her privately.

Arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.
