Mary Elizabeth “Beth” (Goosen) Miller, 50, of Gaylord, passed from this life, in the hospital, after an extended illness, on Saturday, September 18, 2021.

She was born November 14, 1970, to David and Mary (Moran) Goosen, in Petoskey, Michigan.

Beth graduated from Vanderbilt High School.

She loved reading, playing games, and puzzles.  Beth enjoyed spending time with family and playing with her grandkids.  She loved making jewelry and beading.  Beth especially enjoyed traveling, going tubing, and taking cruises.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Steven Miller, and granddaughter, Eliza Marie Waynee.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara (Mickey) Conn; grandson, Austin (Karen) Conn; greatgrandchildren, Aiden, Weston, and Harper; grandchildren Dalton (Tiara) Conn, and Mikea Conn; son, Steven II (Nikki) Miller; grandchildren, Helen and Steven III; son, Teddy (Amantha) Miller; grandson, Julius; daughter, Sabreana (Brandon Geisenhaver, Dean Waynee II); grandchildren, Dominic Geisenhaver, and Dean Waynee III; son Shawn Goosen; siblings, Edna (Steve) Barr, Patricia Goosen, Theodore (Teresa) Goosen, Timothy (Teresa) Goosen, David (Cathy) Goosen II; aunts, Rita Bunker and Barb Moran; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at Resurrection Cemetery, Winters Rd., Gaylord, MI 49735. A celebration of life will follow at the pavilion in downtown Vanderbilt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family through the Nelson Funeral Home, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.
