Marilyn Corrine Dillenbeck, 96, of Gaylord, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at McReynolds Hall.

She was born the daughter of William and Dorothy (Graves) Condon, on September 17, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan.

Marilyn loved gardening and baking. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband. She was a kind and caring mother, and a loving “Nanny” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On February 2, 1946, she married her beloved childhood sweetheart, Raymond Dillenbeck, who preceded her in death in 2012.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry; and sister, Betty Moir.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, LouAnne (John) Pisha; grandchildren, Carson Brown, Evan (Hillary) Brown, Kristen (Jeff) Zipp, and Erin Dillenbeck; great-grandchildren, Emmalynn Dillenbeck, and Amelia and Elliot Brown.

The family has chosen to have a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McReynolds Hall, 825 N. Center Ave., Attn: McReynolds Hall, Gaylord, MI 49735.

Arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.

  3. Marilyn was one sweet lady that was a joy to see tending to the yard during the years she and Ray were at Fawn Lake. She was a very first-class person. LouAnn and John prayers are with you at this time.

    Marilyn was one sweet and classy lady. She, along with Ray, were great neighbors and giving to the neighborhood around Fawn Lake, during the many years they were there. Marilyn never had a hair out of place even when working in the yard. I enjoy many visits with her and Ray during my walks. Prayers are with you at this time.
