Lynne E. Dobrzelewski, age 57, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020.
She was born to Carleton and Diana (Halpin) Fix on April 11, 1962, in Pontiac, Michigan.
This spunky, red-haired girl and family moved to northern Michigan in the early ’70s. Upon graduation, she began work as a banker and achieved her associate’s degree. It was there where she was courted by the Gordon Food Service driver making deposits. They were blissfully wed on September 10, 1983, and welcomed two children by 1992. By the late ‘90s, she devoted her service to the children of St. Mary’s as the Food Service Director. Her love of camping, cooking, crafting, music and outdoors were always accompanied by devoted family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Mitch; her parents; children, Carla (Kevin) McDonald, Joshua (Amanda) Dobrzelewski; grandchildren, Maeve and Caelan McDonald; brothers, Carleton and Philip; sister, Saundra (Rick) May; sisters-in-law, Kathleen (Maurice) Chau, Lori (Brian) Haske, Joni (Robert) Metiva, and brother-in-law, Peter (Zarin) Dobrzelewski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Assisi Church in Lewiston, Michigan.
Visitation at the Nelson Funeral Home will be held Friday, February 14, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary being offered at the conclusion of the visitation. Visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Francis Assisi Church in Lewiston beginning at 10:00 a.m.

A wonderful person, fun to be around and will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered. She was one of the few volunteers that could ‘Handle’ the Joburg Seniors.

Mitch, Carla, and Josh, we are honored to have made a donation to OCRA in memory of Lynne. The alliance is very near and dear to our hearts. We may not have known Lynne all too well, but, she gave us one of our favorite people in this world, our sister-in-law Carla. All of our love.
K&A- I love you both and know that your donation comes from a place of hurt and love, coincidentally. This disease needs to be stopped. Too many people lives are being shattered. Thank you so, so much. Love ya like crazy!
K&A- Thank you so much for the kind words of support and the generous donation. I know the monetary gift comes from a place of hurt and love, coincidentally. This disease needs to go, period. It cannot keep destroying people’s lives.
Gratefully with love,
Carla

Our girl Lynne, always the creative girl, homemaker and friend. She was mature before her time, a great babysitter at 10 yrs old. We would come home to a clean house. The boys had tie dyed tee-shirts and had helped Lynne make cookies. Growing up we had so much fun sewing in 4H! She continued with her love of sewing helping when my grown up 4Hers made the clown costumes for the Joburg 4th of July parade. She is gone to her other home too soon for us left on earth, but she Flys free now with no Pain! Love, Aunt Sherry and Uncle Keith
