Lyndall Erma Kliemann, age 81, of Gaylord, MI, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Lynn was a vibrant outspoken woman who was never hesitant to tell someone what was on her mind. She lived a simple and private life. Lynn enjoyed tending to her garden, crocheting, bird watching from her couch, and enjoying her favorite TV shows and movies. She loved the color red; red cars, red clothes, red lipstick. Her favorite bird was the cardinal. One of her favorite flowers was the poinsettia. The redder the better. She also enjoyed being taken out to eat and going shopping with loved ones. Most importantly, Lynn was a woman of faith who attended Mass at St. Mary Cathedral, prayed the Rosary, and put her trust in God.
She is survived by her five children, Joe (Penny) O’Rourke, of Gaylord, MI, Theresa O’Rourke of Vanderbilt, MI, Tina Warnecke of Roscommon, MI, Larry O’Rourke of Pennsylvania, and Michael Kliemann of Gaylord, MI; her 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; her sisters, Delores Redding of Washington D.C., Mildred Everest of South Lyons, MI, and Ann (Gary) Woods of Belleview, FL; her brothers, Rudy (Judy) Kliemann of Amherst, OH, Jim (Roseanne) Zech of Clemons, NC, Peter (Rosetta) Zech of Lansing, MI and Timothy Zech of Marysville, MI.
Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Rudy Kliemann; her mother, Delores Zech; and her stepfather, Sigmund “Ziggy” Zech.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Cathedral, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lynn’s name to any of the charity funds organized by St. Mary Cathedral online at https://stmarycathedralnlcc.weshareonline.org/
Arrangements were entrusted to the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, P. O. Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.
