Leonard Francis Latuszek, 82, of Johannesburg, Michigan, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, September 5, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Latuszek.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marcella (Kwapis), and his brother Conrad Latuszek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019, at St. Francis Assisi Church in Lewiston, Michigan at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leonard’s name to McLaren Home Health, through the Nelson Funeral Home, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.

Marci, We enjoyed spending a little time with you and Leonard at Julie and Earl’s. He was a very nice gentleman and we were sorry to hear of his passing. Unfortunately it was too soon, but he is not suffering any longer and is at peace. You were fortunate to have “Your Angels “ Julie and Earl by your sides at this difficult time ❤️
Leonard will always continue to be in my thoughts. Around 1975, he asked me if I would repair an item for him. I fixed it for $10 and then he asked if he could deliver a like item from his brother for repair. This simple request launched my very successful business which continued for the next 35 years. I am so sorry for your loss. Leonard will always continue to be on my mind. May he rest in peace.
