  1. Although she was my Aunt she was very much an Aunt to all. She was a member of what is called the ” greatest generation “. Her life truly reflected the values of that period of time that shaped the future of so so many. Living thru the depression and WW2 as well as her ethnic upbringing made my Aunt a very strong , independent and loving person. If everyone had an Aunt Leone in their family the world would be a much better place. I will keep her in my memory and close to my heart. You were one of kind Aunt and a job well done, all I have to do is look at your family as proof.

  2. Mary and Marv Evans

Such a lady! I got to know her while walking at the sportsplex which she faithfully did every day until her health started to fail. We have all missed her humor the last couple years. RIP Leone.

  3. I knew Leone most of my life. She was my friend, my coworker, my teacher, my cook, my confidant, my seamstress, my inspiration, my Mother-in-law. She was pretty, talented, fun to be with, hard-working, kind, a great Grandmother, a good wife, a good woman. I have missed her for a long time. Rest in peace Leone

  4. I just saw this, Rick. Those left here mourn the loss but take solace in the knowledge that she is in the loving arms of the Father.

  5. My thoughts and prayers are with Leona’s family. I haven’t seen Leona in years. I had the pleasure of working with her in the 1960s at Nelson’s Drug Store. She was always very nice and fun to work with! A great sense of humor. It was a privilege to have known her! Rest in peace Leona, you will be missed.
