My condolences to Laurie’s family and friends. She was a role model and friend to me and my family as I grew up. I’m sad to hear the news. I know she will be missed! Rest in peace Laurie ❤
Dear Laurie will be missed by all those she touched, whether through massage, care-giving, family, friends, and many animals. She always had kind words to say, loved a good joke, loved her spirituality, loved the peace and silence of her cottage in the UP. Though we only lived a couple blocks from each other in Dearborn, we didn’t know each other until we both had moved “up north” and then met . We worked together, laughed together, meditated together, enjoyed each other’s fur babies, and appreciated our friendship. Laurie was a special woman with a big heart, always willing to give of her time, energy, possessions, and love. I am honored that we shared a friendship and will never forget her. May we continue our friendship “the next time around.” Ray and I love you Laurie, be at peace. Om, Peace, Bliss.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Mrs. Lark I worked with her at aspen ridge she was an amazing woman and always a friend she will be missed by many, I’m so sorry for your loss
My thoughts and prayers are with Laurie‘s friends and family (Ms Lark, back in the day).
We worked with her when she was a manager at Kmart. She painted me a beautiful picture of my new puppy in 1990, and I display the drawing, with my baby girls ashes, To this day.
Although I haven’t seen her in years, I have thought of her Often and how much fun she was when we all worked together.
Very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. May God bless you all and ease your time of pain.
I was so sorry to hear of Laurie’s passing. I also have sunflowers she painted for me, we had a rough start, but became good friends at Kmart. I have thought of her often. See you when I cross over, Mary.
I remember my days with Laurie working with hospice and Aspen Ridge! Laurie was always there to offer a helping hand and had the biggest heart ever! She blessed so many people. I’m blessed to have known her and she will be missed!

Laurie was my friend for 20+ years. She was a person of many talents. A wonderful artist, tarot card reader, massage therapist, hospice worker, etc. She was a very private person who loved her pets. She shared her thoughts, beliefs, and special cabin with me. I will always cherish our time sitting atop the wall at Brockway mountain, as close to flying as I will ever get. Fly high, my friend. You will be missed.
