Teddie Raymond Koronka, age 86, of Gaylord passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the very home in which he was born.
Teddie was born October 20, 1931, in Gaylord Michigan to Roman and Celia (Oley) Koronka. His family bought the family farm in 1921 and Teddie continued to run the farm until his passing. Teddie was the home cook for all his siblings, and later in life became the family caregiver as well.
Teddie is survived my his sister, Eleanor Stewart, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, John Koronka, Tony Koronka, Alex Koronka, Daniel Koronka, Ben Koronka, and Mack Koronka.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held for Teddie at 11:00 AM on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at St. Mary Cathedral, with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM.
Donations can be made to Otsego County Commission on Aging.

Teresa and I are so sorry we missed Teddie’s funeral. I remember when Dad would bring me over to visit the boys. Uncle Leo would talk about them all so often. You’re in our prayers. Paul and Teresa Koronka.
We lived down the road back in the 70’s. Teddy and his good friend Donnie Bredow were always so sweet to my family. Making our time there on the farm memorable and fun!
