Sweet Judy, my bus driver for years and never once did she get angry at a bus full of youngsters causing trouble. ALWAYS a smile & twinkle in her eyes. She loved her family & community So very much. Wishing comfort to her children, family & friends alike.

    Dearest Judy!
I’ll remember you as my first Sunday school teacher way back in the flannel graph days. I’m so grateful for your love of Jesus and His children. You were always so loving and so excited to receive kids into your arms. I later remember bringing my little sister down to your classroom and how you lit up for every child you saw.
I’ll remember you as an incredible mom.
Sylvia, my love and prayers are with you and your family. I’m so sorry for this.
May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus.

Judy was an absolutely wonderful woman. She made laughing and enjoying yourself go hand and hand with any conversation you had with her. She always had time to talk with you and you went away smiling and so glad you ran into her. I will miss the sound of her laughter and easy smile.

Judy was sweet and caring. I will always cherish the memory of the days I spent with them on their farm as a young exchange student, so much fun.

Our Lord will certainly grant her in his neverending love peace and rest, as well as to all your hearts.

Please extend my condolences to everyone in the family.

    Aunt Judy was much loved.

Judy was my classmate and friend. Whenever I was back home, a visit to Judy and Steve was at the top of the list of “things to do”!
All the 65-plus years I knew Judy, she was never without her smile, interest in whatever you were doing or talking about, and always with her unlimited enthusiasm.
My heart breaks in bidding farewell. A peaceful and God Blessed journey my dear friend.

Judy was a wonderful woman who I first met as my bus driver when we moved to Wolverine in 1986. She was such a good-natured person and nice to be around. To tell the truth, I STILL talk about her driving through the snow drifts in the wintertime! Since I’ve moved south, my TN friends always get a kick out of those stories!
I’m so sorry for Steve and the kids and I hope that they can take comfort in knowing that she touched so many lives in a positive way and created happy memories for so many!

  16. Steve and Sylvia many warm thoughts to you in this difficult time. Judy was a wonderful lady, always a warm welcoming smile whenever I saw her. Many years of her driving our bus and dealing with the mischief of us kids. She will be greatly missed.

  17. My deep condolences to the Fitzner family. I remember Judy always stopping by my house at Christmas time with a plate of her homemade cookies when I worked at the school. Her kindness as a bus driver was evident when so many of the special needs kids she transported to Gaylord showed up at her retirement. May the angels lead you into paradise.
