Joe E. Peters, age 57, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2019.
He was born to Clayton and Almina (Guerin) Peters on June 3, 1962.
Joe enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved his family and spending time with friends. One of his favorite things to do was play video games with his daughter. His favorite song was Ballad of the Green Berets. He also enjoyed country music.
Joe is survived by his wife of 31 years Karen (Kuras) Peters; daughter Katty Peters; sisters Darlene Dunham, Janet Bills, Charlene Zinke, brother Gerald (Ruby) Peters; sister-in-law Rula (Larry) Guyot, brother-in-law Mike (Julie) Kuras; numerous nieces; nephews; aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial will be held August 4th, 2019 at Hudson Township Hall on Camp 10 Road, 7865 Reynolds Rd, Elmira, MI 49730 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family through the Nelson Funeral Home, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.
