  3. Since Dan and I were called and told you had passed away, it was a shock that took some time to grasp. Our heartfelt condolences to Dane and all family members! Yesterday, was your Celebration of Life. Seeing you for the last time, brought back so many memories. Sunday breakfast get-togethers at the Sugar Bowl and later at BJ’s Restaurant with Pat and Jim Bordner. So many other families we visited with every Sunday at those restaurants made it so memorable. We had many family and friends Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday meals in the years we have known each other. Lots of talking and humor filled the room! When we visited on the phone, it was about what was going on in life and ironically, we saw each other so often at Meijer and the Post Office. It was like we kept a similar schedule and didn’t even set it up. As the words in a song most of us have heard, says, “We may never pass this away again” reminds me that life does move on, but the gift of love and friendship is timeless and gives us memories to be cherished and remembered. Until we meet again….
