Jeanette Dee Hall was called home by her Lord and Savior on May 8, 2021, at her home in Gaylord, MI.

She was born on March 22, 1962, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Malen “Malone” and Georgena (Harris) Hall.

Jeanette’s calling in life was taking care of others, especially children. Even though she did not have any biological children, many considered her a second mother. She was honored to have this title.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Malone Hall; and her step-mother, Joan Hall.

She is survived by her mother, Georgena; her brother, Carl (Sabrina) Hall; her step-siblings, Bobbie Jo Trombley, Brian Rice, Rachel Smith, and Becky Hollingshead; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends whom she considered family.

Her family will be remembering her privately at this time.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI, 49734.

  1. Jeanette was a classmate of mine from Willow Run. We also shared a Family member when her Aunt Polly married my cousin Larry.
We enjoyed seeing her at our last class reunion at Loonfeather Park and we kept in contact on fb
We had planned another reunion last year but had to cancel due to Covid. Plans for this year had to be cancelled as well.
Jeanette was concerned that our venue would be wheelchair accessible and I assured her it was. I had made sure.
My thoughts and prayers for all of her family and friends.
Fly high fellow flyer WR class of 1980

  2. Jeannette was a wonderful woman, so full of love. We have so many fun memories with her, she was the best friend, and had a heart of gold. She was amazing with everyone’s children, probably because she was a big kid at heart. She will be missed by so many. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. ❤️🙏

  3. Amanda, I am sorry to hear of Jeanette’s passing. I know she was a large part of your life. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless

  4. We went to school together and she would watch my children. My kids absolutely loved her. She will forever be remembered and missed. R.I.P. sweet angel.

  5. Nette Nette, you were always there when I needed you and even when I didn’t. Our home will never be the same again. It’s so lonely and empty here without you. I miss all of our good times. I especially miss, now, more than ever, when you would get upset with me and yell at me and call me “Amanda Rose”, but, mostly, you called me, “Sissy”. You have always been there for me since the day I was born. 44 years was just not long enough to have you in my life. Nette Nette, you’re always in my heart. I love you and miss you so very much. My heart is filled with so many great memories of all the times we spent together. You’re forever missed. Louis, Deano, and Charlie, miss you as well, especially Louis. We all love and miss you deeply, my precious angel, up above.

  6. Jeanette would watch my son for me sometimes. She was always so sweet. I am so sorry Maidlee, Brandi and Jason for your loss. I am so sorry. 💔🙏
