James Petz, age 66, of Gaylord, passed away, Thursday, August 6, 2020, at home surrounded by family.
The family wishes to remember him privately at this time. There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Ruth, Andrew, Althea, I’m so sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. All of you were so warm and welcoming to us when we first moved to Gaylord and that will never be forgotten. May God bless you and I would love to help you with the memorial get together when you decide the time is right.

I am so saddened about Jimmy. He was a bright light. It was such a privilege to take him and you three on a family tour of Detroit in 2015. I met him at Meadow Brook Hall in 2014. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Dearest Ruth, Althea and Andrew, you and Jim were so kind to me. Jim will be missed by many.

Hi, I knew Jim in grade school along with his sister Barb – Sorry to hear of his passing – We use to go swimming at Dodge house and played in yard at his house not far from school. We had a lot of laughs – always a happy kid
