Ida May Ostrom, age 78 of Vanderbilt Michigan, passed away on December 22, 2022, in Grayling Michigan.
Ida was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Guy and Mary Norris on December 22, 1944. She went to school at Avondale High in Auburn Hills Michigan. She graduated from Avondale High in 1963. She worked in the cafeteria at Otsego Memorial Hospital for many years.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Norris and father Guy Norris, brother Ben Norris and sister Carol Higins.
Ida is survived by her sisters Charlotter Spain, Helen Jensenius, and Dorothy Brooks; children Brenda Ostrom, John Ostrom, Richard Ostrom, Jessie Juhalla, and Linda Brooks. Also, her 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family of Ida wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation Community for taking such good care of her over the last few years and caring for her in her last days.
