Morris Wayne Hall of Boyne Falls passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the age of 66.

Morris was born to Morris and Elwilda (Davie) Hall on November 6, 1950. On June 6, 1975, he married his wife of 41 years, Virginia.

Above all, Morris loved spending time with his family who considered him a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Following his service in the army in Vietnam in the 25th infantry, he was a home builder for many years, a job he greatly enjoyed. Morris also liked to draw and appreciated the outdoors, his favorite hobbies being fishing and hunting.

Morris is survived by his wife, Virginia; children, Morris (Anne Marie) Hall, Heather (Bill) Seigh, and Jennifer (Dave) Aurand; grandchildren Jada, Nathaniel, Lily, Charlie, Brady, Landon, Tyler, Amanda, Emily, Aiden, and Gabriel; and great-grandchild Axel Daniels. He is preceded in death by his son, Wayne Morris Hall; daughter Heidi May Hall; and grandson Cole Wayne Hall.

Funeral services for Morris will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Nelson Funeral Home at 4pm. Visitation will begin at 11am that morning and will continue until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
