Frances Bernice Klein passed away on August 22, 2020, with family gathered at her side.

Frances was born in Yale, Michigan on June 18, 1934, to Elizabeth and Wendell Klein.

She grew up in Yale, Michigan before moving to Detroit, Michigan. After her retirement, she resided in both Warren and Elmira, Michigan.  The simple pleasures in life brought Frances happiness.  She loved being outdoors and found beauty in all of nature.  Her passion was cooking and baking.  Fond memories exist of her famous sponge cake and delicious cookies.

Frances loved her family deeply.  Many warm inspiring conversations occurred when gathered around the kitchen table with her coffee cup in hand.  Her infectious smile and laughter were contagious.  None will forget her kindness nor her selfless caring way.  Her faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ never wavered.  John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Rosalie (Stanley) Markiewicz, Peter (Catherine) Klein, Joseph (Virginia) Klein, Wendell Klein, Mary (Michael) Olexick, and by her long-time companion, Bernard Otto Jacks.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large extended family.

A private memorial service was held at St. Thomas Cemetery in Elmira, Michigan.

Arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.  www.nelsonsfuneralhome.com
