Fern B. Lemerand, 97, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2020, at her home in Marine City, Michigan. She was born on October 2, 1922, to Arnold and Lily (Sakkinen) Ohman in Calumet, Michigan.
She eventually moved to the Detroit area and lived there for 43 years before moving to Lewiston, Michigan in 1986.
Fern enjoyed crafting and gardening.
Fern is survived by her son, Steven (Susan) of East China, Michigan, daughter, Andrea (Patrick) Fitch of Garden City, Michigan, and daughter-in-law Kristyne of Lincoln Park, Michigan; grandchildren, Marcus, Thomas, Emily and Aimee, and great-grandchildren, Mariah, Creed, Gabriel, and Kyle.
Fern was preceded in death by her husband Robert; son, Douglas; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
