Jennifer Leigh Falk, age 36, of Menominee and formerly of Gaylord, passed away on February 9, 2018.
Jenni, daughter of Troy and Judy Falk of Elmira, was born in Petoskey on March 27, 1981. She was a 1999 graduate of Gaylord St. Mary’s. Jenni was an avid animal lover, in particular, her horses and dogs. Jenni could often be found at the Otsego County Fairgrounds showing horses, helping out in the animal barns, and volunteering at numerous other activities. An accomplished rider, Jenni passed on her knowledge to many people. She had a knack for working with children and difficult horses. Besides riding and working her dogs, Jenni loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing. Her daughter, Addyson was the love of her life and changed Jenni’s world for the better. So much of Jenni can be seen in Addyson and she will live on through her daughter.
Jenni is survived by her daughter, Addyson; her parents; grandparents, Charles and Judy Falk, and James Boron; aunts and uncles, Toby Falk, Lisa (Nick) Lee, Tricia (Jeff) Wegmeyer, Andy (Melissa) Falk; cousins; significant other, Terry Perry; beloved dogs, Twig and Mayvis; and many friends who will miss her dearly. She will be remembered as a generous, fun-loving, big-hearted free spirit who brought many adventures to all that surrounded her.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Susan Boron.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11 AM from the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Gaylord.
Visitation at the funeral home will take place on Saturday, February 24, beginning at 10 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Addyson Falk college fund, payable to Judy Falk or Lisa Lee.
Arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, P.O. Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.

My wife and I lost a son a few years ago….we’ll never get over him being gone. Prayer, talking to his friends and our family members, pictures and remembered events keep his memory alive and help us to continue with our lives. Know that in time you will find what helps you. God bless all of you!
