Evelyn Grantner, age 92, of Johannesburg, passed away December 26, 2018, at home surrounded by her family.
Evelyn was the oldest daughter of Ferdinand Lange Jr, and Lily Radebach. She was born and raised in Romulus, Michigan. After vacationing in the area for years, Evelyn and her late husband Donald moved to Johannesburg in the late 1980’s. She was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lewiston, she loved puzzles, playing bingo and trips to the casino. She is known by many as “Gram”.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Donna (Dennis) Vasher and Doris (Dale) Ruhlig both of Johannesburg, grandchildren, David (Nancy) Vasher of Southgate; Daniel (Colleen) Vasher of Hemlock, and great grandchildren Jacob, Tyler, Matthew, and Audrey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service.
