Dorene Renee Spencer (Ashcroft), age 64, passed away on February 6, 2021, in her home in Gaylord, MI.
She was born August 14, 1956, in Fremont, MI, to Scott “Dean” and Juna (Carpenter) Ashcroft.
Dorene spent most of her life living in the Muskegon and surrounding areas. Dorene graduated with an Associates of Arts degree, from Muskegon Community College, in 2015.
On March 15, 1971, Dorene met Bryan Spencer. They were later married on August 25, 1973 and were happily married for 47 years.
Dorene is survived by her husband, Bryan Spencer; children, Jason (Cheri) Spencer, Sarah Place, Juna Spencer, and Benjamin (Tammy) Spencer; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Marsha (Donald) VanSingel and Eileen (Jake) Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Scott “Dean” and Juna (Carpenter) Ashcroft; and her sisters, Judy Espinosa and Roberta Hiler.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Outpouring Worship Center, 11811 Heights Ravenna Rd., Ravenna, MI 49451, with Pastor Richard E. Williams, officiating.

She was so committed to Christ and such a sweet , dear lady. Enjoyed seeing her on Sunday mornings at Coldsprings. Blessings to your family.
