David L. French, 77, of Gaylord, Michigan passed on to his eternal reward July 7, 2019.
He retired from the Michigan State Police in 1987 where he served as a patrol officer, a member of the Underwater Recovery Squad, and Gaylord Community Services. He served as a home and business security adviser in his second career with Gaylord security alarm companies.
He is survived by his wife, and two children who lovingly cared for him at home in his decline. His nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren who gave him his greatest joy. He is also survived by his sister.
Hospice of Michigan provided loving, gentle, professional care for which the family is grateful.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 17, 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1354 S. Otsego Ave., Gaylord, MI 49735.
