Daniel David Dipzinski, age 82, passed away on March 23, 2022.

Daniel was born on January 7, 1940, to Sylvester and Theresa (Koronka) Dipzinski in Pontiac, MI. They later moved to Gaylord where he grew up and graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in 1958. He served four years in the Air Force where he was stationed in Japan and South Dakota as K-9 MP. Daniel and Sara Kay married in 1964 and raised their family in Lake Orion. Daniel worked for General Motors for 30 years and retired as a Skilled Trades Painter.

In their retirement, they traveled, first he was reluctant, and then went on many cruises around the world. He loved to share a story. He never missed the news on TV or in the paper. Family and friends were always important to him. He always stayed young at heart.

He was a cherished husband to Sara Kay for 56 years. Adored father to Anne (Art) Marquardt, Sandy Dipzinski, and Darlene Dipzinski. Cherished grandfather of Alan, Zach, Andrew, Amy, Katie, and Theresa; brother of Eugene (late Laina) Dipzinski, sister-in-law of Janet Tyler, the late Jim Dipzinski, the late Michael (Ruthann) Dipzinski, and the late George Dipzinski; sister-in-law of Lila (Richard) Ruppert, Lou (Larry) Collins, the late Margery Dove, the late Mary Jeane (Richard) Jozwiak, and the late Lois Dove. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
