Cecilia was a pen-pal of mine for many years and also a 1st cousin. Her mom (Antoinette/Dzwik/Puroll) was my dad(Joseph Dzwik)’s sister. My dad’s wife & my mom was also named-Cecilia (Skowronski) Dzwik. My sister- Josephine (Dzwik) Czerkies of Boyne Falls had called me to tell me that our cousin had died earlier that day on Dec. 11th. I had just returned from mailing several Christmas cards & family up-date letters (including one to her & Robert). So I was shocked to hear this sad news. The next day I received annual cards from Nancy & Bernie that we’re written & send out before their mom had died. (Very usual timing). We are unable to attend her Services because of great distance & my own medical problems. Our caring,life-long,love & sympathy go out to all of “CECILIA”’s family & many friends all over. Should be a huge family re-union in HEAVEN going on during this Holy time of welcoming her to “Her 1st Christmas in Heaven” -Hugs & our love to all-Cousin Casimer& Alice Dzwik & our Family

    Cecilia’s family,

I used to work at Aspen Ridge Retirement Village where I had the privilege of getting to know your Mother (mostly on 3rd shift). She was always kind to me and she still has a special place in my heart. She would often mention her connection to Tony Mankowski (a distant cousin of my father’s). Your Mother is dearly missed.

    With love,

    Jennifer (Mankowski) Ballantine
