Irene Ruth Pollock, age 82, of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away on September 8, 2021, at her home.
Irene was born in Rogers City, Michigan, to Leonard and Irene (Kreft) Bredow, on May 13, 1939.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. She loved to read, loved joining her walking group at the Sportsplex, and being a member of the VFW.
Irene was a loving wife, mother of 5 children, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Irene is survived by her five children, Pam (Larry) Grimes, Mitch (Melinda) Pollock, Amy (Lee) Burley, Darl (Cyndi) Pollock, and Tuzday (Brian) Murphy; sister, Ethel Woodward; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darl Pollock; and her parents, Leonard and Irene (Kreft) Bredow.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gaylord, Michigan with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Pollock family for the loss of Irene. What a beautiful soul she was. It has been many years since we moved from Gaylord but we always enjoyed her company and she always had us laughing. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Our thoughts are with Irene’s family. What a wonderful lady she was. I always enjoyed her company and just loved her sense of humor. I’m sure she will be greatly missed!
