Patricia Marie (Mayrand) Marsh, age 73, of Johannesburg, loving mother of six children, passed away peacefully surrounded by many of her loving family and friends on October 17, 2023.

Patricia was born on July 25, 1950, in Wyandotte, MI to Raymond Mayrand and Virgina Leedy.

On August 6, 1966, she married the love of her life Dean Allen Marsh. Together they had six children, twin boys, Terry and Jerry, a son, Donald, two daughters, Suzann and Tonnya, and another son, Garrett.

In 2011, Patricia met George Gries and they were together until she passed.

Patricia’s passion was to spend time with her family. She loved to travel, go camping, and do anything that required the family to be together. She also loved dancing. Her favorite spot to vacation was in Branson, Missouri. She was known for her hugs and her contagious smile. She was very kindhearted and always saw the good in everyone.

Patricia was preceded in death by her biological father, Raymond Mayrand; her dad, George Griffin; her mother, Virginia (Leedy) Griffin; her loving husband, Dean; her twin boys, Terry and Jerry; her sisters, Helen and Evelyn; and brothers, Raymond and Richard.

She is survived by her significant other, George Gries; her children, Donald (Diane) Marsh, Suzann (Bo) Marsh, Tonnya (Mike) Rahn, and Garrett (Christine) Marsh. She is also survived by her sisters, Andrea (Dennis) Jablonski, Pat Violette, and Diane Lewis; her brother, Jimmy Griffin; a sister-in-law, Liz Joras; and a brother-in-law, Mike Miller. She has 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-grandson on the way. Patricia has many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She also has her adoptive family, Beckey Dowker, Greg, Michelle, Vinnie, and Haylee Clark; as well as her significant other’s family, Dawn, Tina, George, Angie, Jay, and their families.

Per Patricia’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be a Memorial/Celebration of Life on November 4, 2023, at the Charlton Township Hall in Johannesburg, at 2:00 p.m.
