Donna Jean (Musall) Cryderman, age 89, of Gaylord, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020, surrounded by family.
She was born to Owen and Dorothy (Campbell) Nelson on October 16, 1930, in Caro, Michigan.
Donna was the founder of the Community Lighthouse Food Pantry & Resale in Mancelona for 17 years. She also owned and operated a restaurant.
Donna was a member of the local V.F.W. Auxiliary, and a board member of the Nazarene Church. If she was not already busy volunteering, she enjoyed an evening out playing bingo. What she enjoyed most was spending time with family and taking fifth-generation pictures with them.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Musall, and Bill Cryderman; parents; and son-in-law, Merle Robinson.
Donna is survived by her children, Norma Gould of Lakeland, Florida, Harold (Bonnie) Musall of Alden, Michigan, Carol Robinson of Gaylord, Raymond (Tara) Musall of Vanderbilt, Michigan, Richard (Sharon) Musall of Mancelona, Michigan, Debbie (Mick) Case of Newberry, Michigan, and Darlene (Ted) Bouchard of Curtis, Michigan, Michigan; 34 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Gaylord, Michigan, 1399 Wilkinson Rd., Gaylord, MI 49735.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McReynolds Hall, 825 N. Center Ave., Gaylord, MI 49735, or the Church of the Nazarene, 1399 Wilkinson Rd., Gaylord, MI 49735.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home, PO Box 1548, Gaylord MI 49734.

Thank you Donna for being an awesome roommate and friend to my mother, Florence, at MacReynolds Hall. I enjoyed the talks we had every time I came to visit my mom. You will be sadly missed by not just me, but by all the lives you’ve touch in such the sweetest way. I will also miss the room decorations that livened up the room and MacReynolds Hall. Forever in our hearts.
May you Rest In Peace Miss Donna. You and Mom (Sharon Berney), can play bingo and keep each other busy. She always would be in the hallway at SHELDON Place with a smile and asking about our family. She will be greatly missed. God Bless you my dear.
My sympathies to the family. So glad I got to visit with Donna last summer, she was blessed and I was blessed to know her. She was like a second mother to me during my years in Mancelona.
May you rest in peace Donna. It was a pleasure to visit with you at McReynolds. My mother Helen (your room-mate will surely miss you). You two shared such good times from years back. Donna was such a loving and wonderful woman. I got to know her when we worked together at HNJH and she and Harold welcomed me as a member of the family, including me in family events and treating me as one of their own. She will be a bright shining angel in heaven and I am sure she will always look down on her children and grandchildren with love. I feel very proud to have been considered her “second Debbie”.

I met Donna when I ran the food truck out at E Free church. She always had a smile on her face and always gave me a hug. She was and will always be a precious lady and I am happy I got to meet her. Our world needs more people like Donna. Heaven certainly gained another angel. Sending prayers for her family that they will feel the love of the Lord and His arms wrapped around them.
I know that this is very late, but I just today heard of your passing my dear friend. You were one of the best neighbors I could have ever had. I was wondering how you were doing but this COVID virus kept us all from visiting. You are gonna be dearly missed by many. Prayers go out to your family. RIP Beth and Richard Landon
