Dear Family of Carol: Carol was a dear friend from Denby High School in Detroit. We both moved to N. MI in the early 90’s. We had many phone conversations and email and card exchanges. I will try to drive up for the Funeral on Monday. Love Mary Ann Stimpson

I just returned this afternoon, from a week in California, and was so sad to hear of Carol’s passing. We had spoken on the phone at length, on Memorial Day. She was as bright and happy as I will always remember her – full of love for her family and wishing the best for all. My prayers and thankfulness of being part of the Granthen family and having the best sister-in-law in the whole world! Love to all, Harriett E. Granthen
