Helen Marie Brink, of Gaylord, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 in her home.
Helen was born on June 5, 1937 to her parents Blase and Helen (Kobylczak) Respecki. She was raised in Gaylord and later married Merton Brink. Together they raised 5 sons.
Helen loved fishing, playing cards, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blase and Helen, her son William Brink, and her brothers Richard, Floyd, Lawrence, Edward, and Chester Respecki, and sisters Bertha Dluzniewski, and Dorothy Ferris.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Merton Brink; 4 sons, Jeff Brink of Gaylord, Russell Brink (Eileen) of Gaylord, Marvin Brink of Gaylord, and Dale Brink of Ferndale; grandchildren William Brink (Colleen), Corey Serna (Fernando), Philip Brink (Allyson), and Elisabeth Brink; and great-grandchildren Felix Serna, Troy Brink and Peyton Brink.
Helen will be buried at Resurrection Cemetery and her family has chosen to remember her privately.
Memorial contributions in Helen’s honor may be made to Compassus Hospice.
Arrangements were entrusted to Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
