Earlene Mae Hager, mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.


Earlene was born in Detroit to Maxine and Samuel Hendrickson on October 24, 1946. She was one of 8 children.


Earlene married Terry Hager on May 27, 1965.


Earlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will survive through the love of her four children; Laura (Jeff), Brenda (Bill), Terry (Michelle), Todd (Heather), her nine grandchildren; Elissa, Samantha, Tyler, Alexis, Katie, Trevor, Paige, Mckenna, Lena, and her five great-grandchildren.


Earlene was an extraordinary woman with many talents, which included her quick wit and sense of humor. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends as often as she could be. One of her favorite times was gathering up the whole family and cooking everyone a magnificent meal, her house was always filled with the best aroma.


She was preceded in death by her husband Terry Hager; mother and stepfather Maxine and Bob Robinson; sister Betsy Brown; brothers Edward Hendrickson, Paul Schwab and Thomas Hendrickson.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.


Contributions in her honor can be made to the Otsego County Animal Shelter.
