Mitchel L. Moore, age 57, of Gaylord passed away on December 22, 2016.

Mitchell was born on February 7, 1959 in Cass City, MI to Richard and Nancy (Putnam) Moore.  He spent most of his life in Gaylord.

He was a member of the NRA and also the Handyman’s Association.  He loved spending time playing country music on his guitar, enjoyed building things and working as a mason and carpenter.  He greatly enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. 

Surviving him are his daughter’s Nichole (Jeremy) Holland, Angela (Eric) Murphy and Katelynn Moore, his 3 grandchildren Hailey, Elaina and Kholton, mother Nancy, siblings Dan (Kelly) Moore, Julie (Kim) Taylor and Jane (Mike) Woodworth, aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father and aunt Donna Moore.

A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11 AM from the Gaylord Family Fellowship in Gaylord, MI.

When I lived at the same address more than one person said that Mitch and I reminded them of the Step Brothers. Although they may have not meant that complimentary, Mitch took it that way, and so did I. You never had to worry about Mitch being genuine. He was the same way toward everybody.
