Dolores B. Quin, age 86, of Gaylord passed away peacefully , surrounded by her loving family on December 5, 2016

Dolores was born in Detroit on August 31, 1930 to Adam and Marie (Beck) Emmendorfer.

She was married to her husband of 64 years, James Quin Sr., on January 17, 1953 in Detroit, MI.

She was an avid quilter for the Lewiston Quilting Club and made many quilts for Hospice, newborns and Veterans.  She was part of the VFW Womens Auxillary for many years and volunteered for the American Red Cross.

Dolores is survived by her husband, her three children Diane (Mark) Slagle, Deborah Quin and James Quin, three grandchildren Justin and Allison Nomura and Brandon Quin and her brother Adam Emmendorfer.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 7 PM from the Nelson Funeral Home with Father Santiago Hoyumpa officiating.  Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of service.

Memorial contributions can be made to Munson Hospice or the Breast Cancer Foundation through the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PO Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734
